Trahan School On Lockdown After Robbery Reported At Nearby Bank

Police are searching the area, the police department said.

TEWKSBURY, MA — Tewksbury's Trahan School was placed in lockdown Monday afternoon "as a precaution" after a reported robbery at a nearby bank, Tewksbury police said.

Police are searching the area after the Salem 5 Bank was reportedly robbed, the department said.

A man ran towards the old Mavericks Restaurant, across the street from the bank, police said.
