Tsongas To Introduce Tierney To Tewksbury Voters
Tewksbury's present congresswoman and possibly future congressman will be doing a walking tour of the Emily Road neighborhood on Sunday.
Congresswoman Niki Tsongas (D-5th District) has represented Tewksbury for the past several years. On Sunday, she plans to introduce Tewksbury voters to the man she hopes will be representing them, starting in January.
Presently, Tewksbury is in Tsongas' 5th Congressional District. However, thanks to the most recent Oct 13 2012 6 a.m., Tewksbury will become part of the 6th Congressional District stating in January 2013. That district is presently represented by Congressman John Tierney (D-6th District).
On Sunday, Tsongas and Tierney will launch a door-to-door canvass in Tewksbury, starting at 1 p.m. on Emily Road.

Volunteers will join Tierney and Tsongas knocking on doors and "talking with voters about the issues that matter most to middle-class families."
Tierney is locked in a tight race in the 6th District with Richard Tisei. Tisei will be in Tewksbury for a Town Hall style gathering.
