TV's Dance Moms Are Invading Tewksbury
The cast of Dance Moms: Miami will be at a local dance studio to meet, greet and talk about the show.
Batten down the hatches, a powerful storm is traveling up the East Coast and will land smack dab in the middle of Tewksbury Friday night!
The cast of Dance Moms: Miami will be at Tewksbury for a meet and greet from 6 to 8 p.m.
The entire cast will be on-hand, including Stars Dance Studio head teachers Victor and Angel, along with Dance Moms Abby, Brigette, Susan, Debi, Ani and Mayra.

"Stars Dance Studio is hosting a convention at the Burlington Marriott on Saturday (Sept 29)," said Dance Expressions owner Jessica Durante. "They had emailed us to ask if we were coming to the convention. We emailed back and forth and they asked us if we wanted to host the 'meet and greet'."
Durante said she feels her studio and her dancers have built a solid reputation through their competition performances and that that reputation contributed to the invitation.

The 'meet and greet' is free and open to the public. Fans will get the chance to chat with the cast members, get autographs and have pictures taken.
Dance in the United States has gotten a huge boost over the past several years thanks to the "reality" entertainment genre. Shows like "Dancing with the Stars" and "So You Think You Can Dance" have shined a spotlight on the world of dancing. Meanwhile, shows like "Dance Moms" and "Dance Moms: Miami" have offered a peek behind-the-scene of the sometimes volatile world of competitive dance.
" I know many of the students watch these shows faithfully and have grown as dancers just from watching," said Durante, whose studio boasts and enrollment of around 350 students." I am so happy they choose us to be the host studio and what a great opportunity for Dance Expressions and it's students.
Durante said many of her students will be attending the convention Saturday.
Stars Dance Studio will have studio apparel available for purchase Friday night at the 'meet and greet.' They also will be selling tickets to the convention.
