UPDATED: Two-Alarm Fire at Tewksbury State Hospital Knocked Down

Crews quickly knocked down the fire which was reported just after 9 p.m. Wednesday night.

Tewksbury firefighters quickly knocked down a two-alarm fire at Tewksbury State Hospital Wednesday night.

Initial reports came in just after 9 p.m. Wednesday at the state hospital located at 365 East. St. The fire went to two alarms for manpower to fight the fire which included heavy smoke conditions on the fifth floor of the Saunders Building.

There were no reports of injuries.
