TEWKSBURY, MA — Tewksbury will remain in its current U.S. House district under the latest version of the proposed redistricting advanced in the Massachusetts Legislature Monday.

The Joint Committee on Redistricting passed a map Monday that reversed prior plans to split Tewksbury into two districts, as first reported by Politico.

The whole of Tewksbury remains in the Sixth District, currently represented by Seth Moulton, under the new version. In the initial redistricting plan, the majority of the town would have been shifted into the Third District, which is represented by Lori Trahan.
