Verizon Store Robbed at Gunpoint Wednesday Night

Suspect arrested in Lowell after police track stolen phones.

The Verizon Store, located at 345 Main St. in Tewksbury was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday night. But thanks to some great local police teamwork, the suspect, described as a black male wearing a dark hoodie and armed with a handgun, wasn’t on the run for too long.

The 25-year-old Haverhill man was arrested at gunpoint in Lowell shortly after as Tewksbury police tracked one of the stolen phones as it crossed into Lowell and notified Lowell Police who also tracked the phone before making the arrest, the Lowell Sun is reporting.

Isaiah Dotson was arrested and held overnight. He faces a number of charges.
