Wendy's Restaurant Robbed, Police Seek Knife-Wielding Suspect

Tewksbury Police reach out to public for help in tracking down suspect.

Tewksbury Police are on the hunt for a man who robbed the Wendy's Restaurant on andover Street Monday afternoon.

According to Tewksbury Police, a man walked into Wendy's at around 4 p.m. on Monday, held a knife to the cashier and demanded money. The report did not indicate how much money he took with him when he fled the restaurant.

The suspect is described as a white male in his early twenties approximately 5’10” wearing a blue baseball hat, black sunglasses, and tan windbreaker. According to police, the suspect fled the restaurant in a dark colored SUV, possibly a Ford Explorer.

Police are asking anyone who was a witness to this crime or as any information to call the Tewksbury Police Department.
