UPDATE: DA's Office Confirms Death of Missing Reading Woman
BREAKING: A woman's body has been found in a vehicle in NH matching the description of the one driven by missing Reading woman.

UPDATE: The Middlesex District Attorney’s office announced the death of missing Reading woman Dorothy Brownsberger, 48, shortly before 4 p.m. on Tuesday.
The DA’s office went on to state that the case is no longer considered a criminal investigation and no further information will be released.
“It is with deepest sympathies that I announce the passing of Mrs. Dorothy Brownsberger, 48, of Reading,” Middlesex DA Marian Ryan stated. “We would like to thank the Reading Police Department, the Massachusetts State Police, the Londonberry Police Department, and the public for their efforts to help locate Mrs. Brownsberger. Our thoughts now turn to her family and friends in this difficult time.”

Original Story: Shortly after noon on Tuesday, Londonderry, NH police found a yellow Hummer with the license plate matching that driven by Reading woman Dorothy Lessard Brownsberger, 48, who went missing on Sunday morning.
The Hummer was parked behind a warehouse near the Londonderry Rail Trail. The woman has not been identified by police or the Middlesex DA’s office at this time.

A spokesperson from the Middlesex DA’s office said information could be released later today if it becomes available.
Reading and State Police, along with the Middlesex District Attorney’s office, began seeking the public’s assistance in locating Brownsberger on Monday.
The Hummer was parked behind a warehouse near the Londonderry Rail Trail.
The woman has not been identified at this time.
Authorities were asking the public to be on the lookout for Brownsberger’s vehicle, a 2007 yellow Hummer with the Massachusetts registration plate 785JP1.
Brownsberger is described as a 5’04” white female, weighing 105 pounds, with long brown hair.
Brownsberger went to get milk for breakfast around 9 a.m. on Sunday morning and said she’d be back for church at 9:30 a.m., according to a post on her husband, Ben Brownsberger’s Facebook page on Monday. Ben Brownsberger went on to state that his wife had taken her phone with her and had not accessed any bank accounts in the day-plus since she had gone missing.
The Brownsbergers had recently moved to Reading from Haverhill to be closer to Dorothy Brownsberger’s 11-year-old son, according to Channel 5 news.
