Zoning Bylaw Committee To Hold Forum Nov. 2 On Draft Rewrite

The committee asked for residents with concerns to make "specific references to the proposed zoning bylaw."

TEWKSBURY, MA — The Zoning Bylaw Committee will hold a public forum Nov. 2 on the proposed bylaw rewrite ahead of a second attempt to win approval from town meeting voters.

A proposed rewrite of the town's zoning bylaws narrowly failed at May town meeting, but the committee plans to seek consideration of an updated draft in 2022.

The public forum will be held in the main hall at Tewksbury Town Hall, 1009 Main Street, at 6 p.m. Nov. 2.

"In order for the Committee to evaluate concerns of the proposed zoning bylaw, it would be beneficial to have specific references to the proposed zoning bylaw which present issues," the committee asked. "Specific references will add to a more meaningful dialogue in this effort to correct the problems that exist in the current zoning bylaw."
