Reason for running: “I will be running as part of the CASA Boston Marathon Challenge to raise critical funds - I have committed to raise $7500 - for Boston CASA. This cause is near and dear to my heart, as I have had the privilege over the past two years to serve as a CASA volunteer advocate, and have seen firsthand just how much of a difference this program can make in the life of a child.

“Since 1982, Boston CASA has made a difference in the lives of abused and neglected children in our community. CASA fulfills its mission by recruiting, training and supervising community volunteers to serve as Court Appointed Special Advocates (’CASAs’) who work to ensure that these children have safe and permanent homes.”
