'Empowering Girls' Conference To Be Held on Thursday
The event designed to foster self-confidence in middle school girls is hosted by the District Attorney and Middlesex Partnerships for Youth.

Not that there is anything wrong with Miley Cyrus, but young women looking for role models need not limit their search to the mass media (as Cyrus herself would no doubt wholeheartedly agree).
With that in mind, a group of organizations have arranged the “Empowering Girls” conference for middle school girls, taking place Thursday, April 16, at the Nashoba Valley Technical High School in Westford.
Female luminaries in law, medicine, and other fields will deliver presentations on self esteem, goal-setting, recognizing healthy relationships, and other topics, starting at 9 a.m.
