Waltham Employees Donate Shoes To Boston Students

Employees from Waltham-based PlanetShoes.com and Earth Brands Footwear delivered holiday cheer and gifts to children at the Joseph P. Tynan Elementary School in South Boston on Thursday, December 20. During a holiday party, 40 boys and girls, ranging from nine months to nine years old, opened gifts purchased by the PlanetShoes.com and Earth Brands Footwear employees who wanted to do something after learning the school lost its annual funding this year and would be receiving no other outside support. The lifestyle footwear companies received letters from each of the children with a special holiday gift wish. The festive afternoon included songs by the children, opening gifts and playing with all the new toys.
