Break Ins, Heroin, Trespassing, More: Waltham Police Blotter
Between January 4 and January 8 Waltham police answered a dozens of calls. Here's a sample of the types of calls they responded to.

WALTHAM, MA — Waltham police regularly update what kinds of calls they get each day as well as their arrest records, showing the community who was arrested for what. Charges listed below do not indicate guilt or conviction; they indicate accusations of offenses having been committed.
Saturday, Jan 4:
- Break in: Someone reported their car was broken into when it was parked on Gardner Street. Vandals: Around 5:20 p.m. someone reported vandalism on Lincoln Street.
- Crash: There was a report of a hit and run on Crescent Street around 10:10 p.m.
Sunday, Jan. 5:

- No license: Police arrested Richard Torres, 35, homeless, and charged him with operating a motor vehicle on a suspended or revoked license.
- Overdose: Someone reported at 11:22 a.m. a possible overdose on Main Street.
- Stolen: Someone reported something was taken from a Garden Circle address.
Monday, Jan. 6:
- Trespassing: Police arrested Julia Gatewood,19, of Newton, Charles Irving, 20, of Boston and George Godfrie, 18, of Chestnut Hill and charged them all with trespassing.
- Assault: Police arrested William Cervantes, 28, of Waltham, and charged him at 5:47 p.m. with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
- OUI: Police arrested Jean Masse,57, and charged them at 5:55 p.m. with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor and for failing to yield at an intersection.
Tuesday, Jan 7:

- Vandals: Police went to check out a report of vandals on Moody Street
- Larceny: Someone reported something was stolen from them on Newton Street.
- Heroin: Someone reported a person overdosed on heroin on Lionel avenue at 2:44 p.m.
Wednesday, Jan 8:
- Threats: There were two reports of threats, including one that happened on Church Street around 3 p.m., and one on McKenna Playground around 6:30 p.m..
- Suspicious: Someone reported something they thought was suspicious along the Met STate parkway just after 7:30 p.m.
Thursday, January 9:
Break in: Police arrested Timothy LeBlanc, 52, homeless, and charged him at 7:30 p.m. with two counts of breaking and entering during the night, a felony, and two charges of defacing a property and one charge of larceny.
