Man Arrested For Heroin, Cocaine Trafficking in Waltham

A 25-year-old Methuen man is facing serious charges for allegedly trafficking heroin and cocaine in Waltham, according to Waltham Police.

The suspect was arrested on Thursday, March 7 after police stopped the car he was riving in the 700 block of Beaver Street. Police searched the suspect's car and found a large amount of cash as well as 19 grams of heroin and more than 20 grams of cocaine, King said. 

Suburban Middlesex County Drug Task Force officers had the suspect under surveillance when they spotted the drug deal. King said he could not comment on where the drug deal occurred.
