New Corner Market In Waltham
Maya market was before the license commission this week to get a package store license to sell beer and wine.

WALTHAM, MA — It looks like the space once known as Family Market has changed hands and will now, officially be called Maya Market.
About a month and a half ago Family Market closed and Maya Market opened quietly under new management. It's a still a corner store, but with a fresh look and a lot of added items, according to Mario Saavedra, who is the new manager.
On Tuesday, the Licence Commission granted that the location, and a beer and wine retail package store license from Cruz Market at 139 Felton St, go to Saavedra's Maya Market at 979 Main St. If you haven't been by yet, the hours are 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
