PA Suspect Who Fled with Infant in Custody in Boston
The AMBER Alert has been canceled. Woman is in custody and the infant is receiving medical care, according to officials.

The suspect in an AMBER Alert activated for a woman who fled Pennsylvania Friday afternoon with her seriously ill infant son and allegedly ignoring directions to get him emergency medical care is in custody in Boston.
Information collected earlier Friday night suggested she may be in the Waltham area.
Massachusetts State Police located Tiffany Cherry Saturday morning and took her into custody. Her infant son is receiving emergency medical treatment at a Boston hospital, police say.

The Massachusetts State Police activated an AMBER Alert for a woman who fled Pennsylvania Friday afternoon with her seriously ill infant son, allegedly ignoring directions to get the boy emergency medical care after it was determined the suspect may be in Massachusetts.
The mother is identified as Tiffany Cherry, a black female, age 36. She is believed to be approximately 5 feet, 5 inches tall with a large build. According to police in Pennsylvania, she fled that state with her 2 1/2-month-old son Quavai Cherry (date of birth 7/25/15). Quavai Cherry is reportedly suffering from severe dehydration.

Tiffany Cherry fled Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, at approximately 4:30 p.m. Friday after she was instructed by medical personnel to take Quavai to the hospital immediately because the boy was suffering from severe dehydration.
