Waltham Among Best Cities For Money Management

WALTHAM, MA — A recent study from WalletHub found Waltham is among the country's best small cities for money management.

The study found Waltham is the nation's 153rd-best small city in the country for money management, placing it in a ranking alongside Newton, the country's No. 35 best city for money management.

The study looked at money-management skills across 10 key metrics including debt-to-income ratios, average percent of credit used, number of late payments, median credit score, foreclosure rate and more.

Waltham was scored among the country's small cities, meaning cities with a population of fewer than 100,000 people.
