Waltham City Council to Review Home Renovation Rules Tonight
A proposed zoning amendement would prohibit homeowners from making certain renovations.

Tonight, City Councillors will discuss proposed changes to zoning rules that would hinder some homeowners from making certain renovations.
The public hearing will begin at around 8 p.m. at Waltham City Hall. The public is welcome to attend and speak during the hearing.
After the hearing, the issue will be sent to a subcommittee for further review. If eventually approved, some homeowners would be prohibited from finishing attics and basement. City Councillor Robert Logan, however, said the rules are intended to better manage growth and density in Waltham.
