Waltham Election Season Coming Soon
City Council and School Committee seats are up for grabs.

Break out the lawn signs and ballot boxes! Waltham's city election season will soon begin.
Nomination papers for elected city positions will become available on May 1, thereby starting several races for City Council and School Committee seats, according to Waltham City Clerk Russ Malone.
This year, all 15 City Council seats are up for election. Also, three School Committee seats, currently held by members Lisa Limonciello, Roebrt Cinotta and Susan Burstein, will be available.

The deadline to return nomination papers to the City Clerk is June 27, according to Malone. The primary election is scheduled for Sept. 17, while the general election will be held on Nov. 5.
