Waltham Fire Clear From Natural Gas Leak [UPDATE]

UPDATED, 1:45 p.m.: Nobody was injured in the incident and crews have now bypassed the line to avoid any danger, according to Waltham Fire Deptartment. Lt. Scott Perry.

UPDATED, 10:34 a.m.: The Winter Street off ramp of Interstate 95 northbound at exit 27 A/B is closed, according to the Massachusetts Department of Transporation Twitter feed. The Winter Street to Wyman Street ramp is also closed.

UPDATED, 10:13 a.m.: Waltham Police has advised motorists to expect heavy traffic delays in the area.

Waltham firefighters are responding to a reported gas leak at 175 Wyman St., according to scanner and Twitter reports. 

National Grid staff have arrived on the scene and firefighters are checking the area for gas levels, according to scanner traffic. Area buildings have been evacuated.
