Waltham Officer June Conway Retires After More Than 30 Years

WALTHAM, MA — June Conway a police officer for the Waltham Police Department is retiring after more than three decades on the force.

Officer Conway has been with the Waltham Police Department since 1985. She was most known for her work with children and women as the Waltham Housing Authority Liaison Officer and in this capacity works with the various residents and Tenant Associations at Chesterbrook Gardens, Prospect Hill Terrace and Dana Court.

She was also an active member of City United, a committee of city officials devoted to resolving landlord, tenant and neighborhood problems.

She's won a number of awards including the 1999 Crime Watch Officer of the Year by the Massachusetts Neighborhood Crime Watch Committee and the 2018 unsung hero award by the Waltham Lions Club.
