Waltham Police Blotter: OUIs, Drugs, More

Here's a look at what the Waltham Police Department has been up to so far this year.

WALTHAM, MA — Waltham police regularly update what kinds of calls they get each day as well as their arrest records, showing the community who was arrested for what. Charges listed below do not indicate guilt or conviction; they indicate accusations of offenses having been committed.

Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2020

  • Noise after midnight? At 12:14 a.m. someone reported a loud noise near the corner of Brown and Lowell streets.
  • Locked: Someone reported they were locked out of a warming center on Felton Street at 1:56 a.m.
  • Hit and Run: Someone reported a crash at 3:15 a.m. near the Islamic Society at 313 Moody Street.

Wednesday, Jan. 2

  • Suspicious: Someone reported a suspicious incident at 7:24 a.m. near the Shell Station on Totten Pond Road.
  • Was that a gun? Someone called to report they thought they might have heard shots fired near Warren Street mid afternoon.
  • Break in: A River Street resident called to report someone had broken into their apartment.
  • Stolen: Someone on Calvary Street reported a larceny.

Thursday, Jan. 3, 2020

  • Traffic: James Quinn, 42, of Pine Street. Police arrested Quinn at 6:24 p.m. on traffic related warrant charges, including OUI, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, lights violation.
  • Drugs: Police arrested Adam Shred, 41, of Willow Street at 10:35 p.m. on a warrant with charges connected to possession of Class A drugs, and lewd, wanton and lascivious condition.
