Waltham Public Schools Are Closed Monday
School is canceled and there's a parking ban in effect to begin at 9 p.m. Sunday.

WALTHAM, MA — It's a three-day weekend for Waltham students and staff. Superintendent Drew Echelson sent out a note to the community at 5 p.m. announcing that all classes will be canceled Monday, March 4.
The city has declared a snow emergency, which means a parking ban will be in effect tonight.
Forecasters are expecting 6-8 inches across much of the state, including Waltham, and the National Weather Service has a winter storm warning in effect through the morning commute, Monday.

Recycling is on schedule, according to city officials.
But, with school being canceled, the Spaghetti Dinner hosted by School Committee benefitting the Show Choir will be postponed until Tuesday at 6 p.m.
