Big Weekend Coming Up for Watertown High School Teams
WHS's football, field hockey and boys' soccer teams have tourney games this weekend.

Three Watertown High School teams will be in state tournament action this weekend as the look to keep their championship hopes alive.
Last Friday, the Raiders football team beat Triton for the programs first ever playoff win. The victory earned coach John Cacace the Patriots High School Coach of the Week award. On Saturday at 1:30 p.m., Watertown will play Pentucket Regional in a MIAA Div. 4 North Section semifinal in West Newbury.
The same day, the Raiders field hockey team will be in the Div. 2 North Section final against Manchester-Essex at North Andover High School at 11 a.m. The four-time defending champs appear to be on another journey to the state final. On Tuesday, Watertown rolled over Tewksbury 5-0, which improved the team's record to 20-0.
On Sunday, Watertown's boys' soccer team plays in the Div. 3 North Section final against Bedford at 3:30 p.m. at Lynn's Manning Field. Last year the Raiders made the state final for the first time. On Wednesday, Watertown defeated North Reading 1-0 when Camille Sheehan scored 30 second into overtime, according to the Boston Globe report.
