The Don's BBQ Opening In Watertown
"The Godfather of the brisket" will bring a Texas-style BBQ and southern comfort food to Greater Boston this week.

WATERTOWN, MA — A new Texas-style BBQ eatery is opening in Watertown this Friday.
On Oct. 29, The Don's BBQ will serve up custom southern comfort classics like pulled pork, smoked chicken, beef ribs, hush puppies, and collard greens, along with a few smoker classics donned with a twist -like the BBQ Burrito and Brisket Ruben.
Popping in at 93 School Street, The Don's BBQ's opening marks the maiden brick-and-mortar venture for chef/owner Sebastian DiFelice, a Newton-based barbecue enthusiast who has owned The Don’s Catering since 2018.

DiFelice found himself 25 years into a corporate career that he no longer felt passionate about, until one day in 2018, when he decided to trade in his suit and tie for a chef coat and thermometer and never looked back.

"This restaurant has been a dream of mine for many years, and I'm excited to bring my take on Texas BBQ to School Street," said chef/owner Sebastian DiFelice. "The Watertown food scene is really expanding - it's a fun time to be entering this community, and I think my menu adds a unique flavor to the landscape ranging from southern comfort classics to smoker staples with a twist."
