How Much Homework is Too Much?

Homework is a fact of life for students in almost every grade level, but some parents believe their children face too big a load.

While schools try to prepare children for the 21st century workforce, some places have said the amount of homework assigned has gone overboard. Studies have shown little evidence that homework improves student's grades. Some places even want to ban homework.

The Watertown School Committee will begin discussing a possible homework policy for the town schools, beginning in the Police Subcommittee.
