• Flock Cameras: City Manager Working Out Details of Contract for License Plate Reading Devices (watertownmanews.com) — Watertown officials are finalizing rules for new Flock license plate-reading cameras, tightening when data can be shared and emphasizing privacy protections before the system goes live. The City Council will publicly review the police policy, and residents can learn more at a January Tuesday Night Talk, even as Cambridge drops its Flock contract and Waltham drafts its own surveillance ordinance.
