Salts Chef Opening Restaurant in Watertown

The chef will reportedly serve his famous roasted duck at the new Uruguay-inspired restaurant.

WATERTOWN, MA - A chef and his wife are opening a new restaurant in Watertown more than a year after their beloved Cambridge joint had to close down.

A burst water pipe forced Gabriel Bremer and Analia Verolo to shut down Salts, but it looks like they have found a new home.

The pair are in the final phases of opening up La Bodega, Eater reported. The new spot will reportedly serve some nods to Salts, including the famous whole-roasted duck, but will also showcase Verolo’s Uruguayan background.
