Watertown Boys' Soccer Team Runs into Tough Medway Team in State Semi
The Raiders took on a team that made it to the state final in a higher division last year.

After reaching the Div. 3 state final last year, Watertown's boys' soccer players wanted to take it a step further this year and win the whole thing. Their goal will have to wait another year, however, after falling in the state semifinal Tuesday night.
The Raiders ran into a tough Medway team, which went to the state final last year in Div. 2 and moved down to Div. 3 this year.
The game remained scoreless until eight minutes into the second half when Adem Karacaoglu scored the games only goal, according to the Boston Herald report.
Watertown had its chances, and Medway goalie Mike Bagdon saved a Rafael DeSouza shot with 18 minutes left. Watertown goalie Greg Koutroukas kept the Raiders in the game making some acrobatic saves, according to the Herald.
The Raiders end the season with a record of 17-3-2.
