Watertown residents celebrate graduation from Cotting School

Amadi Goodwillie and Myra Elizabeth (M.E.) Leon graduated as part of the 128th class from Cotting

Amadi Goodwillie, Watertown resident and daughter of Teresa Kohlenberg and Thomas Goodwillie, graduated from Cotting School in Lexington on June 4 as a member of the 128th graduating class. Amadi received The Barbara D. Hardaway Scholarship, given to recognize a Cotting graduate with outstanding qualities of leadership and a positive attitude.

Myra Elizabeth (M.E.) Leon, Watertown resident and daughter of Barbara Hansberry and David Leon, graduated from Cotting School in Lexington on June 4 as a member of the 128th graduating class. M.E. received The Killian Family Award, given to recognize a Cotting graduate who always gives 100% effort in all aspects of school life.

Founded in 1893, Cotting School serves children ages 3-22 with a broad spectrum of learning and communication disabilities, physical challenges and complex medical conditions. Its mission is to enable students with special needs to achieve their highest learning potential and level of independence.
