10 Years Later, Classmates Remember Young Girl Lost To Cancer

Former classmates remember a girl who died of cancer by raising money for cancer research.

WAYLAND, MA—Cheyenne Morell grew up in Wayland, dying from a rare form of cancer when she was just ten years old.

Having an infectious personality, her friends at the Claypit School still to this day raise funds in her name for cancer research, bringing in $10,000 by doing fundraisers such as ornament decorating, mini golf and foul shooting.
