15 Open Positions For Office In Wayland: Select Board, School Committee And Others
Here's when nomination papers are due.
WAYLAND, MA — Wayland residents will head to the polls to vote on 15 open positions this April.
Nomination papers to run for office in the 2026 Annual Town Election are available at the Wayland Town Clerk's Office until Mar. 10 at 5 p.m. Those interested in running must return completed papers by Mar. 28 at 5 p.m.
There are five names on the ballot so far:

- Jonathan Storr is seeking election to the Board of Health
- Katie Stiff is is seeking election to the Board of Health
- Aida Gennis is seeking election to the Board of Library Trustees
- Leah Hart is seeking election to the Board of Library Trustees
- Bill Whitney is seeking election to the Select Board
The following positions will appear on the ballot:
- Moderator: one seat for a 3-year term
- Select Board: two seats for a 3-year term
- School Committee: two seats for a 3-year term
- Board of Assessors: two seats for a 3-year term
- Board of Library Trustees: two seats for a 3-year term
- Board of Health: two seats for a 3-year term
- Planning Board: one seat for a 5-year term
- Board of Public Works: one seat for a 3-year term
- Recreation Commission: one seat for a 3-year term
- Trust Commission: one seat for a 3-year term
The Annual Town Election will take place on Tuesday, Apr. 28, in the gymnasium of the Town Building at 41 Cochituate Rd.

The deadline to register to vote in Wayland is Apr. 18, and voting by mail will be available for the election.
