5 Things: Alzheimer's Talk, Candidates Night, More Meetings and 'Dallas'
A few things you need to know on Thursday, March 21, 2013, in Wayland.

1. Alzheimer's Discussion. Traditions of Wayland is holding a talk today titled about the stages of dementia and what caregivers and loved ones can expect as a person moves through those stages. The discussion is free.
2. Candidates Night. The 63rd League of Women Voters Candidates Night takes place this evening in the Large Hearing Room at Wayland Town Building. Come hear from the candidates in Wayland's upcoming Annual Town Election and ask your own questions.
3. Other Meetings. The Permanent Municipal Building Committee and the Conservation Commission meet tonight, the first at 6:30 p.m. and the second at 7:30 p.m. The Surface Water Quality Committee meeting has been canceled.

4. Favorite Poem Project. WayCam will be at the Wayland Public Library today to record residents talking about their favorite poems. The sessions will be aired throughout the month of April. Reservations were necessary, so consider this your reminder.
5. 'Who Shot J.R.?' The line became part of American pop culture history on this date in 1980 when "Dallas" aired the famous season-ending cliffhanger in which J.R.
