5 Things: Energy Efficiency Discussion, Healthy Aging and 375th Anniversary Update
A few things you need to know on Wednesday, March 13, 2013, in Wayland.

1. 375th Anniversary Committee. This planning group will meet at 7:15 p.m. tonight to continue discussion of Wayland's year-long 375th anniversary celebration. The agenda tonight features a discussion of opening day ceremonies, fireworks with Sudbury and other items.
2. Another Meeting. The Energy Initiatives Advisory Committee will gather tonight at 7:30 p.m. Discussions about Earth Day in Wayland, streetlights and a possible residential energy efficiency initiative are on the agenda, among other items.
3. Healthy Aging Lunch at Shir Tikva. Everyone is invited to a lunch and learn event with Dr. Robert Stern, director of Clinical Core of Boston University Alzheimer's Disease Center, who will offer a presentation on Alzheimer's, memory loss and dementia. A kosher lunch will be provided for $5 at the door.

4. Who, What, Why, How? Another Alpha Course discussion will be held tonight at Westgate Church in Weston. This one addresses questions including. "What is the point of life? Why do people suffer? What happens when we die? Is forgiveness possible?" This course is open to anyone and is designed for people new to Christianity or looking for deeper understanding.
