Letter: Bouchard, Boschetto are 'Most Capable' Candidates

We are supporting the two most capable candidates running for office in Wayland.

It has been a long time since we have had candidates that represent the tax payers in Wayland. Candidates who care about how our tax dollars are spent, who care about our schools, the programs, our teachers, our children, how we are all affected by the hard issues that are facing us as a town in these uncertain economic times. Candidates who are not just voting “along with the crowd," not just voting the popular way. 

The two candidates we support are willing to make hard choices and those that are not necessarily the most popular. These two candidates are ones who will act and react with honesty, integrity and accountability. 

The two candidates who manifest these attributes, and have already served you, our town, our children, our programs, our schools, are Donna Bouchard for School Committee and Tony Boschetto for the Board of Selectmen.

Donna has researched and worked tirelessly for we who care deeply for our town, our teachers, and how our tax dollars are spent.

Donna and Tony worked to bring forth a resolution to provide more detail in our town’s operating and capital budgets. They were working for you and your checkbooks.

Both Donna and Tony worked successfully to bring forth the article to lower our individual tax bill by $1,000 without cutting or losing any of our services.

Both Donna and Tony follow the School Committee and selectmen’s meetings to stay informed and on top of how our present representatives are serving you and ALL the people in our town.

Both of these candidates are supporters of transparency in our town - and we know we have all heard the phrase “transparency.” What we need is honesty and integrity.
