Donna Bouchard has the most relevant track record of involvement in school budget matters. She was one of the few voices advocating for the restating of school expenditures and the proper accounting of school department finances. This has resulted in hundreds of thousands of dollars in savings in FY11.
Tony Boschetto, an accountant currently serving on the Wayland Audit Committee, has spent countless hours working with other residents and the Finance Committee to find and fix budget errors. This effort has saved us many thousands of dollars this year alone, with no reduction in services.

In fact, over the course of about four years, Tony and Donna have together uncovered over $7 million that was either applied and amortized to reduce our tax burden or returned to us at town meetings. I believe with the precise accounting that Tony and Donna will insist upon as town officials, we will have stronger schools, stronger infrastructure, better delivery of services, and a more reasonable and predictable tax rate in the future. This is needed to boost our property values in Wayland.
Please vote Tony Boschetto to the Board of Selectmen and Donna Bouchard to the Wayland School Committee this Tuesday, April 2.
