My husband Neal and I are pleased to support our neighbor Gordon Cliff for selectman. Gordon has spent over 25 years working with businesses as a management consultant and corporate executive, where, among other things, he is responsible for scrutinizing financial data and recommending new approaches when needed. For the past year Gordon has also worked as a member of our Wayland’s new Audit Committee which has given him experience in town fiscal affairs. We are confident that Gordon will use the skills and expertise he has developed both in the workplace and volunteering on behalf of Wayland to ensure our town’s fiscal stability when elected to the Board of Selectmen. He will work to balance the need for fiscal prudence while maintaining a budget that does not jeopardize our schools, public works and property values.

Gordon and his wife Beth have been active in the community and are deeply committed to our town. They unselfishly volunteer in a variety of capacities and have demonstrated their civic spirit and capacity for community service. We would be fortunate to have Gordon Cliff on our Board of Selectmen – his professional expertise, intellect and dedication make him an ideal candidate who will work to maintain Wayland’s unique character.
