Wayland Will Join the State in Today's Moment of Silence
Wayland will join with the rest of the state in a moment of silence at 2:50 p.m. today in honor of last Monday's Boston Marathon bombing victims.

Communities across the state of Massachusetts, including Wayland, have been asked to fall silent Monday at 2:50 p.m. for a moment of reflection in honor of last Monday's Boston Marathon bombing victims.
For 60 seconds, communities across the Commonwealth will pause to remember the individuals injured or killed when two bombs went off at the Boston Marathon finish line at 2:50 p.m. on April 15. Following that moment of silence, bells throughout the state will toll.
In Wayland, several churches are working to find individuals to ring their bells. First Parish Wayland, St. Ann's and St. Zepherin's all hope to participate and are working to find individuals who know how to handle the bells in each establishment.
