Obituary: Donald Roemer, Former Wayland Teacher

Donald Roemer, 74, of Franklin, MA, died on October 1, 2013.  Husband of Marjorie Godlin Roemer.  Survived by his children, David Roemer & his wife Celeste Faria Roemer, and Lizabeth Roemer & her husband Josh Bartok, as well as two grandchildren, Joshua and Sophia Roemer.  A beloved teacher, Don will be remembered by generations of students from Northeastern University, Wayland High School, and Franklin High School. A memorial service will be held at Schlossberg & Solomon Memorial Chapel, 824 Washington Street, Canton, MA, on Sunday, October 6 at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to MoveOn.org or to Smile Train.
