Power Outage at Town Building Cancels Thursday Night Meetings

All Thursday night meetings at Wayland Town Building have been canceled due to a power outage.

An announcement made at 4:30 p.m. indicated that Wayland Town Building was without power and, therefore, the meetings scheduled for Thursday night at town building have been canceled.

According to the Town of Wayland calendar, the Finance Committee and the Town Meeting Procedures Subcommittee were scheduled to meet Thursday evening.

A dispatcher at the Wayland Public Safety Building said that power was cut to town building in the late afternoon in order to perform repairs.

According to the Nstar outage map, only 11 customers in Wayland were without power as of 4:30 p.m.
