Private Road Wayland Residents Can Now Appeal Snowplow Decision
The DPW is not going to plow private roads anymore in Wayland. But you can appeal.

WAYLAND, Ma—The Wayland Board of Selectmen at a recent meeting approved an appeal process for residents who live on a private road to appeal the board's decision not to plow those roads in town.
If a Wayland resident would like to submit an appeal of the Board’s decision not to plow a private road on which they reside, they are asked to:
- Download and complete the application form found on the Town of Wayland’s web site at www.wayland.ma.us, along with any supporting documentation. When completing the appeal application, please refer to the accompanying Residential Private Road Snow & Ice Policy.
- Mail/drop off the completed application (in hard copy format) to the Office of the Board of Selectmen, located in Town Building, 41 Cochituate Road Wayland, MA 01778 to be received no later than Tuesday, September 4, 2018
The Board of Selectmen then compile submittals, solicit Department of Public Works’ findings, and make a determination on the appeal no later than Monday, Nov. 5, 2018.
