Public Hearing On Cascade Project: Wayland Board Of Appeals

The next hearing on a 60 housing unit project proposed for the old Mahoney's site is coming up.

WAYLAND, MA—The next public hearing concerning a proposed housing development on Route 20 at the former Mahoney's Garden Center includes a traffic report, review of the site walk, comments from the fire and police departments and sewer and disposal concerns.

The next public hearing on the Cascade Project is being held on Tuesday, Feb. 27, at the Wayland town building at 7 p.m. The hearing focuses on the comprehensive permit submitted by Eden Management.

Led by Eden Management,the project proposes a 60-unit housing development not only at the old Garden Center, but a house at 113, 115, 117 and 119 Boston Post Road. Fifteen apartments would be restricted to affordable housing qualifiers.
