VIDEO: What's Already Open and What's Coming to Wayland Town Center

Since ground was broken in April 2012 on Wayland Town Center, the once overgrown field has blossomed into a full-scale development with multiple storefronts featuring a variety of retail and dining options.

And there's more where that came from.

Patch has heard a lot of questions about what residents can expect at Wayland Town Center, so we're doing our best to track down some answers.

We know that popular West Newton gastropub The Local has signed a lease to open up shop; the Japanese eatery Takara already has its name on Wayland Town Center directory signs; and Middlesex Savings Bank also has signs in the windows of a buidling on the site.

But there's also been plenty of rumor and confusion about what is actually coming to the site, so Patch went to the source.
