WAYLAND, MA—This month, Wayland's cable channel is putting the spotlight on Race Amity Day, featuring the subject on its show The Buzz.
Begun in 1957, the day is observed in the U.S. on the second Sunday in June. Learn about the observance of this in Wayland with Buzz guests Ann Landry and Janot Mendler DeSuarez, members of the National Center for Race Amity.
The Buzz airs on Sundays and Tuesdays, and this spotlight starts on June 3, at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on your public cable channel (Comcast Ch. 8; Verizon Ch. 37), and online on-demand anytime.
