Wayland School Committee Narrows Down New Start Times

WAYLAND, MA—The Wayland School Committee has pared down its list of four possible start time scenarios for the schools to two, according to reports.

Discussion has been going on for years, and at the most recent meeting the committee narrowed down start times in which both would start at 8:30 a.m for the middle and high school., but either a 7:45 a.m. or 8 a.m. start time for the elementary schools, reports Wicked Local Wayland.

The School Committee said that neither option is "ideal," and that the school department should come back with costs of implementing three different ideas.
