Wayland Store Sells $4 Million Winning Lottery Ticket
The winner of the large prize will remain a mystery, according to the state lottery.
WAYLAND, MA — Wayland was recently the site of a rare lottery win.
A unnamed player purchased a "$4 Million Money Bags" ticket at Donelan’s of Wayland recently and won the full jackpot. The $2.6 million lump sum (and pre-tax) prize was claimed by a lawyer representing the Wyldstyle Nominee Trust of Quincy.
According to the state Lottery Commission, only three people have scratched the grand $4 million prize on the "$4 Million Money Bags" ticket. One winner claimed the prize in March after buying a ticket in Revere. The other win happened in August 2022 in Taunton.

For selling the ticket, Donelan’s will get a $40,000 bonus from the state.
