5 Things You Need to Know: Glee and a Good Man, a Charity Screening and More

Five things you need to know for Needham and Wellesley on June 6, 2013.

 

1. While today should be pretty similar to yesterday, a high of 74ºF and only partly cloudy, the evening has about a 60 percent chance of showers, according to the National Weather Service. Otherwise, it will be mostly cloudy and have a low of 54ºF. 

2. Put on a big smile and check out the Needham Retired Mens' Glee Club Meeting. They'll be at Carter Memorial United Methodist Church, starting at 10 a.m. Rehearsal is an hour and a half every Thursday morning, and new members and visitors welcome.

3. Join the Wellesley Kiwanis Club for their lunch and program today. Stop by at 12:15 p.m. at the Kiwanis Club of Wellesley. 

4. "," not only a true statement, but a play by the Wellesley Theatre Project which opens today. First show at 4 p.m. at the Carling-Sorenson Theater on Babson College campus. Tickets are $6.

They are also performing the Aristocats Kids at 7 p.m.

5. The Autism Research Foundation is sponsoring a  a 40-day journey across the country by one filmmaker who set out to visit 20 individuals with autism, while also learning about the spectrum for his own son. The showing starts at 7:30 p.m. at 670 Legacy Place in Dedham, and 25 percent of the $12 tickets will go to the Autism Research Foundation.
