5 Things You Need to Know: March 1

This weekend, there's some art, some perspective and some pasta. What are you trying out?

1. There's a chance of some rain, a chance of some snow in the evening. Throughout Friday, a 20 percent chance of precipitation, according to the National Weather Service. Otherwise, mostly sunny and partly cloudy, with highs of 41ºF and 28ºF lows.

2. This weekend, Needham's Art is in Bloom. The Art in Bloom exhibit is returning for its fifth year. Both on Saturday and Sunday, at the Needham Free Public Library. More than 45 pieces of art organized by the Needham High School Fine Arts Department and Beth Shalom Garden Club. 

3. Bring your fork for . The Italo American Educational Club of Wellesely is running the show tomorrow afternoon, 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Entry is $5

4. Jazz in the Garden this weekend. The . Food, drinks, music, open bar and local wine tasting, online auction with over 100 items fun and unique items. Kicks off at 7 p.m. Saturday night, and costs $75. It's at the Needham Masonic Lodge, 1101 Highland Ave.

5. This weekend, Victoria Budson, the Women and Public Policy Harvard's Kennedy School, executive director presents her Perspectives on Women and Public Policy. She's speaking at the Wellesley Free Library at 2 p.m. on Sunday.
