The Community Fund for Wellesley's 15th Anniversary $100K Grant Opens!

CFFW announced its commitment to awarding a total of $100,000 in grants to organizations that benefit Wellesley residents 8/1-9/15

The Community Fund for Wellesley (CFFW), an endowed fund of The Foundation for MetroWest, is excited to announce the celebration of its 15th anniversary and the commencement of the Grant Program. As a dedicated organization committed to building a stronger and more vibrant community, CFFW has long been a support for the residents of Wellesley. Since its inception, with the continued support of caring neighbors, the Fund has made grants totaling more than $600,000 to further its mission.

Established in 2008, CFFW has promoted the common good and tirelessly worked towards meeting the unique needs of our community. As a trusted source of funding, CFFW has continuously fostered innovation and collaboration amongst organizations that are dedicated to creating a lasting positive impact in Wellesley.

To commemorate this significant milestone, CFFW is pleased to announce its commitment to awarding a total of $100,000 in grants to organizations that benefit Wellesley residents. Through the 15th Anniversary Grant Program, CFFW aims to provide financial support to organizations working in the crucial areas of Arts and Culture, Community Building, Education, the Environment, and Health and Wellness. One-time grants ranging from $2,500 to $7,500 will be awarded to organizations that demonstrate a clear dedication to making a difference in the Wellesley community.

The 15th Anniversary Grant Program will be conducted online, ensuring a seamless and accessible process for all applicants. Interested organizations can submit their applications starting on August 1st by visiting here. Application deadline is September 15th at 5:00pm. The Community Fund for Wellesley Board members and Foundation for MetroWest are responsible for evaluating and providing grant awards.

"We invite eligible organizations to apply for the 15th Anniversary Grant Program and join us in our efforts to further enhance the lives of all Wellesley residents," said Wendy Paul, Co-Chair of CFFW.

"Our grant program has been instrumental in supporting local organizations that tirelessly work towards creating a thriving community," added Co-Chair Ellen Gibbs. "We are extremely proud to celebrate 15 years of making a positive impact in Wellesley and look forward to celebrating our 15 years of partnership with the Wellesley community at our upcoming celebratory event on November 3rd.” Ellen Gibbs emphasized the importance of community support, saying, "Without the generosity of the community, ongoing emergent needs and worthy initiatives could not be met."
