Five things for Wellesley today.

1. While the day will be sunny with temperatures in the mid-forties, there is a possibility of snow overnight. The National Weather Service predicts temperatures between 46ºF and 25ºF with increasing clouds in the evening, and a 20 percent chance of snow after 4 a.m.

2. Needham's Greene's Field is running a Fundraiser By Y3K Tutor In Your Home. That is, if you get services from Y3K Tutor In Your Home, starting at $10, they will give 10 percent of the proceeds to rebuilding Greene's Field. 

3. Temple Beth Shalom is sponsoring a "Circle of Hope" Coat Drive. Beginning at 9 a.m. today, they are collecting coats to benefit homeless shelters. Bring old coats to the donation box in the foyer of 670 Highland Ave in Needham

4. Tryouts for winter sports begin today, according to the Wellesley High School Athletics website. 8 a.m. for boys wrestling, 8:20 a.m. is the beginning of the boys ice hockey at Rivers, noon at Daly Rink for the girls hockey and girls basketball. Boys basketball starts at 3:45 p.m. The dance team meets at 4 p.m., boys indoor track at 3 p.m. and boys swim at 8 p.m. For more, see the Athletics website.
